Luxury apartments at Stone Oak are now under the ownership of a Chicago real estate investment firm.

San Antonio-based Embrey Partners sold the 323-unit Standard at Legacy apartments at 1938 E Sonterra Boulevard to Sherman Residential, according to a news release. The price of the sale was not disclosed but Bexar County last assessed the property at $52 million, according to property records.

“This is a best-in-class community in a premier location with easy access to Highway 281 and Loop 1604,” says John Kirk, managing director and executive vice president for Embrey, in the news release.

The Standard at Legacy includes a resort-style pool and cabana, a cyber lounge with workspaces, a conference room, fitness center with a virtual fitness studio, a golf simulator,  and an outdoor living area with a kitchen and games.

The apartments have kitchens with quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances.
